Centreville, Michigan is a village located in St Joseph County about 30 miles from Coldwater. The village covers one and a half square miles and is the county seat. Downtown Centreville is home of the St. Joseph County Historical Museum and a Victorian courthouse. Both the Langley Covered Bridge and the St. Joseph County Grange Fairgrounds are located in Centreville. The bridge is one of the longest wooden covered bridges in the state and is listed as a Michigan State Historic Site in 1965. The fairground holds events year round but the largest event is the county fair every September that is attended by over 150000 people. Centreville is also home to a large community of Amish. There are lots of Amish businesses in the area. Parts of Lake Templene are within Centreville, Michigan.
