Grand Beach, Michigan is an exclusive 1 square mile resort community on the Lake Michigan coastline in southwest Michigan.This Berrien County, Michigan community has a population of less than 150 residents and sits in New Buffalo Township just north of the Indiana border. Grand Beach is part of the Harbor Country. The village has some of the best Lake Michigan beaches. Grand Beach has a mix of both summer and year-round residents. Beautiful white arches have welcomed visitors and locals to Grand Beach since the early 1900’s. This Harbor Country community is close to everything; entertainment, wineries, shopping and great dining choices. If you like outdoor activities, Warren Dunes State Park is a 1500-acre preserve located on Red Arrow Highway between Sawyer and Bridgman just 20 minutes away.The Park has a pristine two-mile beach as well as wildflowers and mature forests.
The village has grown up around a community golf course. The Grand Beach Municipal Golf Course is a high end 9 hole public golf course that keeps these homeowners in golf heaven. The village allows golf carts everywhere.This golf course has been around since the 1930’s. The Village Hall is in the same building as the golf course offices. If you like to golf this community is for you. The close proximity to Chicago, about 90 minutes makes this a great place for weekend getaways and second homes.
