Niles Michigan is a city that covers around 6 square miles located in both Berrien County, Michigan and Cass County, Michigan along the St. Joseph River within Niles Township. The city is on the Michigan/ Indiana state line not far from South Bend. Niles’ City Hall is located in the historic Chapin Mansion along with the Fort St.Joseph Museum in the old carriage house. There are restaurants and shops to enjoy. The Niles Rail Depot is off North 5th Street and has been in many movies including “The Continental Divide”, “Midnight Run” and “Only the Lonely”.
Niles is home to two small lakes:
Little Indian Lake a No Wake with 66 acre
South Clear Lake with a 61 acre lake is home to Portage Meadow neighborhood, just about 20 minutes from South Bend.
Niles is about 30 minutes from a ski slope, 15 minutes from Notre Dame and only 90 minutes from the bright lights of Chicago.

Four Flags Area Apple Festival is a four day festival full of fun for the kids and adults.
